We arrived in time to catch all the bands, but got some delays getting the pass. And then some more delays at the camp. But we caught the antics of Sonata Arctica, and a bombastic stageshow from In Flames.
The second day started with terrible wind. More than our camp could handle. So we had to handle that situation, and attend the Manowar pressconference, so there's no pictures of Thunderbolt & K(Nine). The weather continued to change every fifth minute (the worst photo-situation). But just as earlier years, it was once again proven that rock and metal are stronger than the weathergods..!
GH got a bit carried away on the highly energic W.A.S.P. concert, that was followed up by Testament, which originally was gonna go on before W.A.S.P. The night ended with Holyhell, and without a doubt, the loudest band @ the festival; Manowar.
After a rough night, sleeping, well sort of, in the drivers seat of the car. We caught all the bands of the third and last day. All the bands seemed to give 110%. A lot of energy and smiles from the stage. As a photographer, GH enjoyed Sirenia the most, but as a rocker and music fan; the whole festival rocked!
Day 1: Sonata Arctica, In Flames.
Day 2: Backyard Babies, Satyricon, W.A.S.P. (I, II, III), Testament, Holyhell, Manowar.
Day 3: Sister Sin, Sahg, Sirenia, Skambankt, Mustasch, UDO, Doro, Nightwish.
(Skambankt & Mustasch pics with alternative camera).
